About Us

Vaishnavi Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha is a Non-Profit organization based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Since 2013, we have been dedicated to skill development for unemployed youths and providing demand-driven skill training to women. Our efforts have resulted in training over 500 unemployed women and youths in various sectors such as beauty parlour, hospitality, banking, and handicrafts.
We are proud to be recognized as an Authorized Vocational Training Center (VTP) by the Maharashtra State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) since 2015. Additionally, we have recently become an Implementing Agency (IA) of the Ministry of Textile (Handicrafts) in New Delhi from 2022. This allows us to promote Indian handicrafts and create awareness of government scheme benefits among handicraft artisans. We bring these artisans together under the umbrella of our NGO, providing them with training, tools, and opportunities to showcase and sell their products.
In addition to our work in skill development and handicraft promotion, we are also a distribution partner of Vitamin Angel. Through this partnership, we distribute free prenatal multivitamins to pregnant women in our society. We also provide free deworming tablets, along with Vitamin A tablets, to combat malnutrition among children below 5 years of age.
To further promote handicrafts and create awareness, we organize awareness camps, exhibitions, and cultural festivals. These events not only showcase the talent and craftsmanship of our artisans but also provide a platform for them to connect with potential buyers and customers.
Our NGO is led by President Mrs. Sangeeta Jethe, MA, MEd, a dedicated social worker, and Mrs. Prabha Chinchkhede, PhD, who have a deep interest in arts and crafts. Together, we have registered more than 550 handicraft artisans with the Ministry of Textile, enabling them to access government scheme benefits, receive training, and participate in exhibitions to sell their products.
At Vaishnavi Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, we are committed to empowering unemployed youths, promoting Indian handicrafts, and improving the health and well-being of our society. Join us in our mission to create a brighter future for our artisans and communities.
